The 2024 Accord shares its interior styling cues with the recently redesigned Honda CR-V and Civic. The dashboard features a horizontal layout with a distinctive mesh grille that hides the air vents. In the two entry-level trims, the dash is topped by a small 7-inch touchscreen, but other models upgrade to a 12.3-inch screen. Materials quality is good for the class, with padded surfaces in commonly touched areas. The fairly simple layout places controls logically for easy operation.
There's plenty of space up front for taller passengers as well as class-leading rear-seat legroom, although the Accord's tapering roofline cuts into rear headroom. If you're under 6 feet tall, it isn't an issue. Behind the rear seats, you can pack as much as 16.7 cubic-feet of cargo.Â

The base infotainment touchscreen in the 2024 Honda Accord measures a rather small 7 inches, but starting with the Sport trim, it is replaced by a 12.3-inch display. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included on all models and are wireless in the Sport trim and higher. If you want the newest tech features, the top Touring trim switches to a Google-based infotainment system that aims to improve connectivity and productivity with Google Assistant features. You also get a wireless charging pad, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a premium 12-speaker Bose audio system, a definite upgrade to the standard eight-speaker system found in the lower trims.

How does the 2024 Accord Handle on the Road?
The 2024 Accord LX and EX models come with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 192 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. It's the same engine that powered the previous generation Accord, and it's one of the best small turbocharged engines in the class. Buyers will appreciate its linear power delivery and smooth operation. It's paired with a well-tuned continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) that drives the front wheels. All-wheel drive is not available. Turbocharged models accelerate to 60 mph in about 7.5 seconds, which is about average for this class. The Sport and higher trims receive a hybrid powertrain that combines a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors. Output is 204 hp and 247 lb-ft, which is good for a spirited 0-60 mph acceleration time of about 6.5 seconds. There's also a Sport driving mode that noticeably improves response.Â
